The Tocker Foundation provide funding for small, rural libraries in Texas serving populations of 12,000 or less. The Foundation partners with community libraries to meet the particular needs of the community. Eligible uses of funds include, but are not limited to: collection development, furniture and shelving, programming, equipment, digitization projects, and library automation.

Funding is not provided for:
The Foundation will not consider a new request if a previously funded project is incomplete. The Foundation will not consider two separate applications from the same library. Two or more similar projects should be prioritized on one grant application.
Eligible applicants are small, public libraries that serve rural populations of 12,000 or less in Texas.
Applications must be submitted online or via email to [email protected] by January 15 or June 1, annually.
Award amounts vary. Awards last up to 12 months.
