Kremer Foundation Grants are given to Catholic schools in the continental United States to provide tuition assistance based on financial need. The goal of the Foundation is to assist eligible children by providing Tuition Grants to schools on behalf of qualified children rather than to individual families. The principal of participating schools selects the students who receive tuition assistance based primarily on financial need, without regard to race, gender, nationality, citizenship or religion.
Grants awarded to 457 schools in 49 states during the 2019-2020 school year will provide tuition assistance to more than 3,800 students. Since the Foundation began in 1985, approximately 80,000 students have received tuition grants to assist with their Catholic elementary education. More information is available at https://kremerfoundation.org/kremer-foundation-recipients.html
Schools selected for tuition assistance will be notified by March 31, annually. Principals then have until may 31, annually, to complete additional paperwork on the school and student/parent applications (including income substantiation). Tuition grant checks are mailed by September 1, annually, to participating schools.
To be eligible for students to receive tuition assistance, the Catholic Elementary School must be listed in the P.J. Kenedy Official Catholic Directory and located in the Continental United States of America.
Applications for the 2020-2021 school year are due no later than January 31, 2020. A similar deadline date is anticipated annually.
Award amounts vary.
