In awarding grants, the foundation gives preference to Christian charitable organizations in MN. Medical foundations and education receive prime consideration.
In the last five years, The Patch Foundation have funded 204 grants to 58 organizations totaling $3,155,900. The Patch Foundation has given a total of $1.1 million in grants in 2022. Recent awardees include: Alaska Christian College, ARC Greater Twin Cities, Banyan Community, Bethel University, and Catholic Charities.
The Patch Foundation was established in 1997 in Minnesota. The foundation does not maintain a website. Please contact the foundation to verify eligibility prior to submission of a full application. Funds may be used for the following purposes:
No support for political groups or causes, the arts, or any group whose goals are contrary to Christian principles.
Giving primarily is limited to non profit organizations in Minnesota.
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Board meetings occur annually in January. Initial approach should be with a letter of intent.
