The foundation primarily supports educational institutions and their activities, and social service organizations and their programs. It also supports religious organizations and arts and humanities organizations and their activities.

Giving primarily is limited to non profit organizations in Minnesota with emphasis on the Twin Cities metropolitan area. No grants to individuals.
Applications are to be submitted by September 1, annually. Initial approach should be with a letter of intent. An application form is not required. Applicants should submit the following:
