Each year the Game and Fish Department accepts applications to the Shooting Range Grant program for shooting range enhancements (including, but not limited to: berms, benches, target hanger and throwers, and access, storage buildings, sanitary facilities, lighting).
None is available.
No work done prior to a signed agreement with the Department will be reimbursed. Projects must be completed within 12 month of the grant award date. Priority will be given to:
Firearm and archery shooting ranges in North Dakota that allow public access and are nonprofits in good standing with the Secretary of State are eligible to apply to this program.
Applications are to be submitted by October 1, annually.
Award amounts vary. A total of $80,000 is available annually through this program. Grants require a 25% cost-share.
