    The Communities Foundation of Texas has granted over $2 billion since its inception in 1953. Previous awards can be viewed on individual program pages. 

    Additional Information

    The majority of grants awarded by CFT come from donor-advised funds. Grants from these funds are awarded by recommendation from the fund's donor and/or advisor, often in consultation with CFT staff. Donor-advised grants can support items such as program needs, capital projects, or operating expenses, but cannot support individuals or scholarships.
