The Ed Rachal Foundation supports charitable, scientific, literary and educational purposes within the State of Texas. Funds may be used for the following support strategies: Capital and infrastructure; Capital campaigns; Emergency funds; Equipment; General support; and Program development

The W. W. Smith Charitable Trust was established in 1965 in Texas. The foundation will not make multi year commitments, fund projects outside of Texas, or make grants to individuals.
Eligible applicants are nonprofit organizations and governmental organizations operating in the State of Texas.
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Board meetings are scheduled quarterly during January, April, July and October.
Individual awards vary based on project scope, but generally range from $5,000 to $500,000.
