    The purpose of The Parker Foundation is to better the life for all people in San Diego County. The foundation seeks to accomplish this by providing grants to non-profit agencies in San Diego County, California. Grants from the Foundation are made in the areas of:

    1. Arts and Culture: including support for visual and performing arts as well as museums and zoos;
    2. Adult and Youth Services;
    3. Medical: support for health care organizations, clinics, and hospitals throughout the region;
    4. Education: including support for public and private institutions of education, museums, and libraries; and
    5. Community Activities and Miscellaneous: support for community organizing or community development efforts.

    Grants are not made to individuals and generally the Foundation does not support conferences or symposia.
