The Hanley Family Foundation (HFF) mission is to advance the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of alcoholism, chemical dependency and addictive behavior, including support for related research and education. The Hanley Family Foundation gives to organizations within the following fields of interest:
- Addiction services
- Alcoholism
- Diseases and conditions
- Health
- Mental and behavioral disorders
- Mental health care
- Residential mental health care
- Substance abuse treatment
Projects serving the following populations are of special interest:
- Economically disadvantaged people
- Homeless people
- Substance abusers
At present, HFF is making grants to qualified organizations whose primary purpose is to operate treatment programs to help individuals recover from alcoholism, drug addiction, and other forms of substance use disorder.
The Hanley Family Foundation has given a total of $639,500 in grants in 2016.
