Foundation grant support will not cover:
The primary interest of the foundation is to support programs and specific projects. Consequently, support of capital campaigns is limited and provided on an exceptional basis. The foundation does not typically fund university research projects or endow chairs.
Eligible grantees are not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations that focus on human needs, environmental stewardship, education, and community vitality.

The Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation will accept grant requests online during two grant cycles each year. Similar deadlines are anticipated annually.
Most grant awards range from $1,000 to $15,000, while higher amounts may be awarded when a program is an exceptional fit.
