The George Preston Marshall Foundation was established in 1972 in District of Columbia. The foundation does not maintain a website. Please contact the foundation to verify eligibility prior to submission of a full application. Funds may be used for the following purposes:
No support for programs which do not directly benefit children. No grants to individuals.
Giving primarily is limited to non profit organizations in DC, Maryland, and Virginia with emphasis on Montgomery county. No grants to individuals.
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Board meetings occur three or four times a year. Initial approach should be with a proposal. An application form is not required.

Awards vary based on scope and size of project. Awards are up to $100,000. Most awards range from $10,000 to $25,000.
