The Albert W. Rice Charitable Foundation was established in 1959 to support and promote quality educational, human services and health care programming for underserved populations. The Foundation supports projects with the following subject areas:
Priority consideration will be provided for projects that address the following population groups: Children and youth; Economically disadvantaged people; and Low-income people.

Eligible applicants are 501(c)(3) organizations serving the residents of Massachusetts. Special consideration is given to charitable organizations that serve the people of Worcester, Massachusetts and its surrounding communities.
Applications may be submitted by July 1 annually.
