    Summary

    The MENTOR Network Charitable Foundation focuses on organizations that look at how people with disabilities and other behavioral challenges are cared for in society. There is also an emphasis on youth and families that are undergoing emotional challenges.

    The foundation provides three different grant programs:

    1. Community Partners Program- Focuses on organizations within the fields of health and human services.
    2. Community Champions Program- Recognizes employees that have devoted extraordinary amounts of time to local charities.
    3. Stepping Stones Program- Helps individuals who are being served by the MENTOR Network become self- sufficient through job- training and vocational or higher education.
     

    History of Funding

    Since 2007, nearly 300 Community Partner grants have been awarded to organizations in 30 states.

    Additional Information

    The Community Partners Program is only open to 501c3 organizations.


    Community Champions are nominated by colleagues and supervisors. They are announced quarterly.

    Organizations applying for any program must benefit the same populations The Network Foundation serves.

    The funder hasn't stated any other restrictions on eligible applicants, however, please contact the funder prior to application to confirm their interest in receipt of a proposal.

    Deadline Details

    The Community Partners Program submission deadline is September 30, 2020. Applications are considered bi-annually starting October 1, 2019.


    The Community Champions program has no deadline, nominations are accepted throughout the year.


    The Stepping Stone Program has no deadline; applications are accepted on a rolling basis beginning October 1, annually.

    Award Details

    The Community Partners Program accepts grant requests ranging from $2,500 - $5,000.


    Community Champions receive recognition throughout The Network Foundation and a nonprofit organization of their choosing will receive $500.


    Award amounts vary for the Stepping Stone Program depending on the size and scope of the project.
