The George W. Mergens Foundation is a private family foundation located in Colchester, Vermont. The goal of the Foundation is to invest in the future of Vermont by supporting programs that seek to enrich the lives of youth.

The Foundation provides grants for general operating expenses, project expenses, and capital projects.
Youth serving tax exempt 501c3 organizations located in Vermont are eligible to apply.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Generally, a request will be issued an award/denial within 6-8 weeks of submission depending on the nature and scope of the project.
